Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children have been connecting to Mother Earth and her Gifts for thousands of years. From the youngest of ages they are taught about the importance of this deep connection and custodianship.  Children learn how to care for Country, they learn about the importance of taking only what is needed, leaving some for those that are to follow and learn about respectful ways of interacting with Mother Earth.  How can we teach our Future Old People to interact with Mother Earth and her Gifts respectfully? What experiences and conversations do you have? How do you role model custodianship of Mother Earth to the young people you work with? Come and explore these questions and others with us.
