As we understand more about brain development we are finally getting the science to support what we as Early Childhood Educators have always known. That is, that the first five years of a child's life are fundamentally important. These early years are the foundation that shapes children's future health, happiness, growth, development and learning achievements at school, in the family, their community, and in life in general. These years are also crucial in the development of our babies and children’s cultural identity, this begins pre-birth. In this session we will spend time exploring ways to connect babies to culture & Country through the exploration of their senses.
This session includes:
- Informing your practice - Connecting Baby handout
- Informing your Practice Reflection Pages
