Early Learning services and their educators are often the first point of contact when families are experiencing difficulties or at their most vulnerable. It is becoming more and more prevalent for educators to offer advice or refer families to essential services in their communities so that they can access support and assistance through difficult times. Because there are so many services and programs for families to access, educators can sometimes feel overwhelmed and find it difficult to navigate through this web of information and services that are provided.
We know it takes a community to raise a child, but how can we achieve this if the people working with families are isolated and disconnected? Communities are often made up of many interconnected partnerships, and these partnerships thrive when relationships are strong, trusting, and respectful.
