Our On Country Learning Experience supports educators to strengthen all five Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) Learning Outcomes by building cultural capability through authentic relationships, learning on Country and direct engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Participants return with the confidence, knowledge, and practical strategies to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into everyday practice while supporting Reconciliation, Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
Three Days, On Country
Join us live at our face-to-face On Country Learning Experiences where we will give you information and ideas to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into your everyday practice. This will assist you to work effectively with Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and culturally diverse children, families and communities in any sector.
Our On Country Learning Experiences provide an opportunity to be embedded in culture while learning about culture and practical ways that you can embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into your environments.
Local community Elders and Cultural Experts are drawn on directly from community to support and present at our conferences.

Day One Friday 25 September
ON COUNTRY BUS TOUR
- 7:00 meet at The NRL COWBOYS HOUSE
- 7:15 Leave Townsville
- 9:30 Arrive at Mungalla Station
- 9:40 Morning Tea
- 11:45 Mungalla Station Cultural Tour and Lunch
- 3:00 Leave Mungalla Station
- 3:15 Yarning at Connecting the Dots through Culture and Play visit
- 4:15 Return to Townsville
- 6:00 FINISH
Day Two Saturday 26 September

Join us for the Connecting the Dots through Culture - On Country Learning Experience to learn how you can embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into your everyday practice. This is an opportunity to learn about culture from local community Elders and Cultural Experts, who we draw on directly from community to support and present at our conferences.
